Sonia Ahmed

I’m Sonia, a health and wellness writer who strongly believes that our well-being is dependent on how we treat those around us, including our environment.

After losing my mom to cancer after a long, gruesome battle, I internalized the idea of living simple. I became increasingly cautious of what I put in my body and applied over it.

But, the more I researched, the more I discovered that it’s not ONLY about me! Everything we buy affects others and the environment from the moment it goes into production to the moment we discard it and beyond.

Sustainable industry is the way forward but it will feel and remain expensive until we understand “what we don’t pay with money, we pay with damage to the environment.”

Being a writer, I consider it my duty to inspire, motivate, and educate well-meaning people about the harms of disposable culture and how we can make life better for us and others including our Earth by living a sustainable life.
